MLB's ERA Leader Is... A Houston Astro?
Of all teams who could have a starting pitcher lead all of baseball in ERA after the first two weeks of games, who would of thought it would be a member of the Houston Astros?
That's right, a member of the Astros starting rotation has the lowest ERA in MLB. His name? Scott Feldman.
Feldman has started 3 games for the 5-10 Astros, going 2-0 and throwing a combined 20 2/3 innings with a 0.73 WHIP and 0.44 ERA. He is also tied for the major league lead in WAR for starting pitchers. And people wondered why the team signed him to a 3-year, $30MM deal this offseason...
