Back on June 30, it was announced that Los Angeles Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos would miss two to three weeks with a nondisplaced fracture in his right wrist. Well, the three weeks are almost up and he’s still not back, and now Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports that X-rays have revealed the bone isn’t completely healed yet.
Bourjos will have X-rays again Friday, but this seems like a bit of a setback.
Due to the wrist injury and a strained hamstring earlier this season, Bourjos has only managed to play 40 games, but when he has been in the lineup he’s been productive.
