Mark Teixeira says his surgically repaired right wrist is holding up well, but don’t look for the first baseman to play in an exhibition game until March 3 at the earliest.
Teixeira, who didn’t swing at any of Jim Miller’s batting practice pitches by design Thursday at George M. Steinbrenner Field, said he wasn’t sure when he would face live batting practice pitches.
“Probably a week to 10 days,’’ said Teixeira, who continues to hit off a batting tee and take batting practice off coaches.
