Alex Rodriguez homers in Triple-A rehab debut, set to return Monday

Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer in his rehab debut with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Yankees president Randy Levine said Thursday that Rodriguez will be activated from the disabled list and return to the team’s starting lineup Monday provided he makes it through the weekend healthy, USA Today reports.

Rodriguez has missed the entire season with a hip injury.
