Video: Brawl Breaks Out At Triple-A Albuquerque

Dodgers, Dbacks Triple-A Affiliates Brawl In Albuquerque

The Dodgers and Diamondbacks got into a few confrontations on the field last season, to say the least, and now their Triple-A affiliates are taking the feistiness to another level.

Last night in Albuquerque the Isotopes and Aces got into a brawl, and here’s footage of the incident:

This all stemmed from Dodgers infield prospect Erisbel Arruebarrena pimping a home run on Friday night with a 35-second trip around the bases. Aces starting pitcher Mike Bolsinger threw a ball high-and-tight to Albuquerque’s Arruebarrena on Saturday before striking him out. After the strikeout, Arruebarrena shoved catcher Blake Lalli.

Nine players and Reno Aces manager and former major leaguer Phil Nevin were ejected after the incident.
