Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes had to be pulled from Monday’s season-opener in Tampa Bay after just one at-bat due to tightness in his left hamstring and he was placed on the disabled list after the game. But good news arrived at the Jays’ clubhouse Tuesday in the form of negative MRI results.
According to MLB.com’s Gregor Chisholm, Reyes has been diagnosed with mild left hamstring inflammation and is aiming to return from the disabled list as soon as his 15-day stint is over.
