Red Sox shortstop Stephen Drew suffered an oblique injury exactly one week ago and then aggravated it during batting practice a few days later, but he’s clearly feeling much better.
Alex Speier, Red Sox beat writer, reports that Stephen Drew is back in the lineup today, replacing Xander Bogaerts:
Drew back, Bogaerts out: Holt 3B, Pedroia 2B, Ortiz DH, Napoli 1B, Nava LF, Pierzynski C, Sizemore RF, Drew SS, Bradley Jr. CF, Workman RHP

The thought from the team is that missing the first two months of the season resulted in Drew’s oblique injury.
Drew, 31, is 1-for-14 (.071) with five strikeouts since signing a prorated one-year, $14.1 million deal with Boston on May 20.
