MLB News: Self-Serve Beer Machines!

Self Serve Beer Station

Ready, set, pour….it’s about to be a beer lover’s paradise at Major League Baseball’s All-Star game in Minnesota. ESPN is reporting that the Minnesota Twins have installed self-serve beer stations throughout Target Field ahead of next week’s “Midsummer Classic”. Fans will now be able to pay ahead of time for beers with pre-loaded cards. The cards will then be scanned by the self-serve machines as fans can choose between a variety of beers and sizes.

Domestic beers will cost slightly less than craft beers, and the beer will be charged by the ounce. Reportedly, there will also be a limit of 48 ounces per person for every 15 minutes.

So what do you think about these new self-serve beer machines? Would you be excited if they were installed into your favorite ballpark?
