The Washington Nationals have activated 1B Adam Laroche off the 15-day disabled list. It was first reported by the team yesterday that Laroche would return to the team today:

Laroche will be in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Pirates, as he will be activated after the minimum 15 days on the disabled list after being sidelined since May 9 with a right quad strain.
Laroche, 34, had gotten off to a hot start in 2014 before hitting the disabled list, as he was hitting .319 with 5 HR’s and 21 RBI’s in 32 games player.
