ICYMI: George Kottaras Sets New Indians Record (Video)

No one knows how long George Kottaras will be part of the Indians’ roster but he will always be part of their record book.

The catcher became the first Cleveland player to homer in his first two plate appearances with the team. Kottaras’ power output is even more surprising considering he was batting .080 (2 for 25) with Triple-A Columbus when he was called up on Saturday.

Both of Kottaras’ homers were solo shots to right off White Sox starter Andre Rienzo.
