Kyle Farnsworth would love to stick it to general manager Sandy Alderson where the sun doesn’t shine.
We reported earlier that the Mets released Farnsworth, but the reliever has actually been outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas. He is expected to decline the assignment and become a free agent.
Farnsworth isn’t happy with the team and hopes to “…find a team to play against this team,” and added: “I’m very bitter right now.”
Farnsworth belives he did a well enough job for the team after being summoned from the minors in the first week of the season to take the place of Bobbby Parnell. He recorded three save in four chances and had allowed only one run in his last five appearances.
