Corey Kluber Strikes Out Seven Straight Batters

Cleveland Indians starter Corey Kluber made history in the fifth inning today against the White Sox, striking out seven straight batters:

That breaks the previous record of six straight batters held by Feller, Colon, Finley & Talbot.

Kluber struck out 13 batters on the day, surpassing his previous career-high of 11. The 28-year-old right-hander has 48 strikeouts in 45 total innings (seven starts) this season with a decent 3.60 ERA.
