Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the Rockies’ victory Sunday, but the Gold Glove left fielder still isn’t quite himself.
Blame the lingering tendinitis in his left knee.
“I feel a little better; still fighting with that knee,” CarGo said. “I think it’s showing in stolen bases. It’s kind of slowed down a lot.”
Though Gonzalez is hitting .275 with seven home runs and 29 RBIs, but he has just two stolen bases. He feels discomfort in his knee the most when he’s on the bases, but it affects him at the plate too.
