Alex Rodriguez Blasts MLB Commissioner Bud Selig

After storming out of his hearing with Major League Baseball yesterday New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez took to the airwaves and blasted Major League commissioner Bud Selig on the Mike Francesa show.

Rodriguez claims to be 100% innocent of all charges,  has been suspended without a shred of proof, and that he should not serve one inning. He says that Selig doesn’t like  New York.

A lot of the  interview is softball questions from Francesca and A-Rod does his best to paint himself as a victim, that MLB has embarrassed his family, and pull at the heartstrings mentioning that he had to miss his daughters birthday. The interview reeks of being staged and set up in advance but I’ll let you decide.

I am a fan of all sports but am most passionate about baseball. From the fanatical to analytical, nothing about the game escapes me. Being born and raised in Northeast Ohio I'm very familiar with the heartache and pain that sports can bring and hope that I bring some understanding of the other side to my coverage. I will focus mostly on baseball but also cover the Tampa Bay Lightning, one of the most electric franchises in all of sports. Always willing to converse about any sport and have only one rule and that is be respectful at all times.
