A.J. Ellis’ Rehab Is “Ahead of Schedule”

Although Los Angeles Dodgers catcher A.J. Ellis was expected to miss 4-6 weeks following his April 8th knee surgery, he has resumed doing baseball activities and, according to Steve Dilbeck of the Los Angeles Times, “appears ahead of schedule.”

Ellis wasn’t able to run at full speed when he tried recently, so he’s not that far ahead of schedule, but a minor-league rehab assignment could be around the corner.

However, this is the second knee surgery for Ellis and he is keenly aware of the need to get his rehab right.
