Mike Trout continues to amaze us with what he does on the field. Last night he came to the plate with the bases loaded and one out against Chris Sale, what he did sent chills through Angels fans both in the stadium and watching at home.
This pitch probably shouldn’t be hit out of the infield, let alone over the wall but Trout somehow managed to take an 84 mph changeup from Chris Sale and deposit it over the wall in center field for a game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning.
I don’t know how you can watch this and not love the game of baseball. Never count the Angels, or Mike Trout, out.
