Mets Considering Mark Reynolds For Outfield

The Mets are considering offering Mark Reynolds a contract and playing him in the outfield, according to Ken Davidoff of the New York Post.

However, Davidoff writes that the contract Reynolds is seeking, believed to be about $7 million, might be too high for the Mets.

He hit .221/.335/.429 with 23 home runs in 538 plate appearances for the Orioles in 2012 while spending most of his time at first base.
