Maurice Jones-Drew Says Hell Be Full Speed By Early June

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew played just six games during the 2012 season, which means its been quite a while since hes been on a football field.

I just got back to Jacksonville a couple weeks ago from school, just have been rehabbing every day and getting used to the offseason program, Jones-Drew said during an appearance on the NFL Network. Ill be back at full speed by probably the end of May, beginning of June, and I just cant wait to get back out there and play. I only had six weeks of football last year, so its just going to be exciting to get back and be with my teammates.

If Jones-Drews timetable holds, he should be available to take part in Junes minicamp. The Jaguars probably wont push him too hard too fast since a healthy Jones-Drew figures to be their best offensive weapon, but getting some work in before the start of training camp would likely make everyone feel better about Jones-Drews status heading into the season.
