Maurice Jones-Drew Gets His Boot Off This Week

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has had a walking boot on his left foot since having surgery to repair the injury that ended his 2012 season, but he wont have to wear it too much longer.

Jones-Drew is set to get the boot taken off later this week, according to Ryan OHalloran of the Florida Times-Union. Losing the boot will allow Jones-Drew to start rehabbing the injury, a process that coach Gus Bradley knows that the running back has been itching to get underway.

Ive had some conversations with him, Bradley said. I know Maurices past history is that he leans up as he gets closer to the season. I know this is probably challenging for him to be in the boot and not be doing things physically. But I totally trust him. When he has the time, hell be ready to go.
