The drama continues between the ACC and Maryland as the Big Ten-bound school tries to move on. According to College Football Talk, the two have agreed to mediation, which could be a sign of settlement.
The Washington Post was the first to report the news of the agreement and they say that the main focus of it will be to settle rather than go to trial.
Maryland officially joins the Big Ten on July 1st, officially, so they are trying to clean this up before then. The mess began when the ACC sued Maryland for an exit fee of $52 million. College Football Talk says that the school countered with a lawsuit, seeking over $100 million for allege antitrust violations.
No matter what happens, Maryland will leave the ACC for the Big Ten. They will start competing in the conference this fall.
