Mariotti Show Recap: Wednesday, Nov. 13th

Missed part of the show? Heres a rewind of the program on November 13, 2013.

The Mariotti Show streams live M-F noon to 3 ET.

Hour One on The Jay Mariotti Show: November 13, 2013:

Somehow, One-and-Done Night lived up to megahype in college basketball

Wiggins, Parker, Randle all impressive and project as top NBA picks. Expectations, comparisons unfair, shrug it off.

Jay, like Mike Krzyzewski, hopes NBA teams won't be tanking games for better lottery position.

Calipari has a coaching job to do at Kentucky with six elite freshman.

Michigan State actually has SENIORS, and Jay is glad Tom Izzo continues to run a program that demands players stay a while and don't immediately bolt to the NBA.

One-and-doneism is a sham, mocks academia while developing NBA talent and giving David Stern/Adam Silver a year of free publicity for their future stars.

Jordan's ``Sick Game'' shoes are being auctioned off.

Dwayne Bowe will start for Chiefs after weed bust. Jay wonders why Andy Reid, who lost a son to drugs, wouldn't make a larger statement by at least benching him for a half beyond NFL jurisdiction.

Hour Two on The Jay Mariotti Show: November 13, 2013:

Let's see how Chiefs respond to first adversity

Martin-Ross meeting delayed, league wants Martin first

What happened to Miami Dolphins over time?

Jerry Jones: Is there a dumber football guy out there?

Gronkowski, latest insensitive episode

Kaepernick's regression, updates on Wilson, Griffin

Jerry Rice on Megatron: Far to go

Coaches on hot seats

More Broncos-Chiefs: protecting Manning vs KC sack fiends

Del Rio on spot, Fox says coming back before long

Every team has issues in watered-down league

Scott Tolzien in GB? Why backup QB is so vital, same goes for Denver

Hour Three on The Jay Mariotti Show: November 13, 2013:

More raves about the One-and-Done freshmen. Jay says it shouldn't be called college basketball, but NBA development basketball.

Jay lays out the summer of 2014 and how LeBron could end up with the Lakers and how other teams will tank for Wiggins, Parker, Randle, etc.

How would the new college football selection committee handle this year's circumstances?

Ohio State, because of weak Big 10, could be aced out for years, which could lead Urban Meyer to the NFL.

Jay thinks Meyer's successor at Florida, Will Muschamp, doesn't have much rope left at program accustomed to elite coaches.
