Manny Ramirez Apologizes For Behavior
On Wednesday Manny Ramirez apologized for his behavior during his time in Boston before a pregame ceremony in which the franchise honored its 2004 team, in what was his first public appearance since being hired as a minor league player-coach with the Chicago Cubs.
“I realize that I behaved bad in Boston,” Ramirez said, per the Los Angeles Times. “The fans were great. I also played great when I was here, but I realized I behaved bad. I apologize for that. I’m a new man.”
Ramirez says he has been attending church for nearly a year.
While with Boston, Ramirez hit .312 with 274 home runs and 868 runs batted in before being traded to the Dodgers in 2008.Manny Ramirez Apologizes For Behavior by Sports Talk Florida
