Magic Summer League Player Preview: Matt Bouldin
The Orlando summer league kicks off today, and there is a lot of optimism with the Magic’s team. I’ll be taking a look at the invitees, the roster is subject to change.
The 26-year-old Gonzaga University product has spent time in Greece, Montenegro, and Israel since graduating in 2010. Bouldin played in the D-League with the L.A. D-Fenders at the start of the ’13-’14 campaign, but got picked up by the Delaware 87ers, then later was traded to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
In six playoff games, Bouldin averaged 17.2 ppg, 6.0 apg, 4.8 rpg, and 2.3 spg on 55.4 FG% and 36.0 3PT% per contest for the Mad Ants, who went on to win the D-League championship.
At Gonzaga Bouldin lead the Zags to four straight WCC Titles, finishing his college career earning the WCC Player of the Year award in 2010, having averaged 15.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 4.4 apg
