Luke Scott was scheduled to accelerate his rehab assignment by playing tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday with the Charlotte Stone Crabs and be reevaluated by the Rays medical staff on Monday in hopes that he would be activated for Tuesday’s game against the Kansas City Royals. His rehab appearance may have hit a bump in the road, not as a result of an aggravation to his calf, but but as the result of being hit on the right wrist with a pitch in the top of the 4th inning by Fort Myers Miracle pitcher Jason Wheeler . Scott remained in the game and scored on a home run by Alejandro Segovia but was removed from the game prior to his next scheduled plate appearance.
