Bolts hope to keep the heat on the Devils tonight on National TV.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are sitting atop their new home in the Atlantic Division and they love the view. Tonight the Bolts who are 8-3-0 head to New Jersey to face a Devils team that has yet to find their way this season and are off to a 2-4-4 start.

The can be seen locally and nationally at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network and those fans who might wonder what is going on with this Lighting club will get to see them up close and very personal.

What is going on with the Bolts? Tampa Bay won its third straight on Sunday, a 4-3 shootout victory against the Florida Panthers. Steven Stamkos, the game’s first star, scored in the fourth round of the tiebreaker to give the Lightning the decision. The shootout goal was a rare occurrence for one of the game’s brightest young stars since he entered the game scoring just five times on 27 chances.

Anders Lindbackmade 29 saves in regulation and overtime before stopping three of four in the shootout, including Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov and Dmitry Kulikov. It was Lindback’s first victory of the season.

Meanwhile. the Devils after scoring one power-play goal in the first six games of the season, they have connected for eight in the past five. The team scored four power-play goals on seven attempts on Saturday, including two in the final 1:08, to rally for a 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.

Andy Greene’s power-play goal with just 44.1 seconds remaining in the third snapped a 3-3 tie. It was New Jersey’s first win in Boston since Nov. 27, 2009, and the first time they scored at least four power-play goals in a game since Jan. 22, 2008, when they had five in a 7-3 win in Philadelphia. Devils goalie Martin Brodeur made 25 saves to earn his first victory of the season.

The Bolts need to be careful against New Jersey they might be a little off their game but they are always tough at home.
