Tonight’s loss was served to the Lightning by the New York Islanders, who beat them in their first home game since being on the road.

Coach Cooper told us it was weird. He said, “In all seriousness, I thought we played pretty well tonight. But, second period, probably the last half of the second, we kinda leaked a little bit. We get a little frustrated…and then we started doing things that we normally don’t do or try not to do anyway.”

The Lightning will play at home against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday.
