Lightning Assign Suspended Adam Erne To Quebec
The Tampa Bay Lightning have assigned suspended forward Adam Erne to Quebec of the QMJHL.
The Lightning roster now sits at 58 players.
Erne has been suspended for three preseason games for delivering an illegal check to the head of St. Louis forward Vladimir Sobotka during a preseason game in Orlando on Wednesday, September 18, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 6:54 of the first period. A minor penalty for illegal check to the head was assessed on the play.

The Lightning’s camp roster now sits at 58 with 31 forwards, 22 defensemen and five goaltenders.
Erne, Tampa Bay’s second-round draft pick in 2013, scored two goals and added another in the shootout during the Lightning’s 4-3 come-from-behind win on Wednesday night at the Amway Center in Orlando. It was his first NHL preseason game.
The Bolts travel to St. Louis today to take on the Blues in their third game preseason game in as many nights. They will return home tomorrow night to play their final preseason game of the season at the Tampa Bay Times Forum (7 p.m.). They will also have remaining games in Nashville (Sept. 24), Estero (Sept. 26) and Sunrise, FL (Sept. 28)
