The Magic’s young forward/center Kyle O’Quinn played very well off the bench against the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night. He finished the game with a career high of six blocks, added five rebounds, had two steals and scored eight points.
The most memorable blocks of the night came in the fourth quarter when O’Quinn blocked Brandon Jennings back-to-back as the guard tried to help the Pistons overcome a 12 points deficit.
Lately, O’Quinn has played with a lot more confidence and it shows. This has led the Queens native not only to visibly play better on the court but also have a positive change in his stat line. If he keeps this up, he will keep getting more and more minutes from head coach Jacque Vaughn.
After the great defensive performance off the bench, O’Quinn, Victor Oladipo, Muarice Harkless, Glen Davis and Jameer Nelson shared their thoughts:Kyle O'Quinn Sets Career High Blocks Against Pistons by Mary Stevens
