The shoulder has bothered Wong for quite some time, and it has had a considerable impact on his performance.
Wong first started dealing with shoulder issues on June 5th, and since his return to the lineup on June 10th has hit just .077/.077/.154 in 26 plate appearances.
Wong, 23, has a .228/.282/.304 slash line with one home run, 16 RBI, and nine stolen bases thus far in his first full season in the big leagues.
