Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning wasn’t the only repeat winner of weekly honors in the AFC.
Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston has been named the AFC defensive player of the week for his dominant performance against the Eagles last Thursday night. Houston was also the Week One honoree after he recorded three sacks in Kansas City’s 28-2 win over the Jaguars.
Houston is Kansas City’s first defensive player to take the weekly conference award twice in a season since Derrick Thomas did it in 1991.
