Josh McCown may retire after Bears’ season
Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown may hang it up after this season to spend more time with his family.
The 34-year-old, who was named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Week earlier in December, told Adam L. Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times that he’ll have to make the decision this offseason when he becomes a free agent, but retiring from the NFL is one option he’ll consider to spend more time with his wife, two sons and two daughters in North Carolina. Jahns reported McCown’s family will play “the most influential role” in determining whether he returns to the Bears — or the NFL — next season.
