Jonathan Drouin Dealing With Sore Foot
Tampa Bay Lightning top prospect Jonathan Drouin is not participating in Team Canada's World Junior Championship camp with a sore foot, according to multiple reports out of Canada.
According to the reports, the issue is not believed to be serious.
Drouin, who was selected third overall by the team at the NHL entry draft, was recently hit in the foot with a puck.
It is believed that Drouin will challenge for an NHL roster spot when the team reports for training camp in September, so it is likely good news that he is approaching this issue cautiously now so he can hit the ice running in approximately six weeks.
