Jaguars Re-Sign Jordan Shipley

The Jaguars officially announced the re-signing of receiver Jordan Shipley on Thursday.

Shipley, who was non-tendered by Jacksonville in restricted free agency, caught 23 passes for 244 yards and two TDs in six games last season for the club.

Shipley, 27, was a third-round pick of the Bengals in 2010. He caught 52-600-3 as a rookie as a slot receiver in a receiving corps that included Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, but he missed most of his second season with a knee injury, and Cincinnati let him go last summer. Shipley appeared in one game with Tampa Bay in 2012 before landing with Jacksonville.
