Jaguars Expecting Pass Rush On Sunday

Jaguars_Jordan_Todman_2013Its just a coincidence that the Jacksonville Jaguars started last season the same way Gus Bradley ended his.

The Jaguars defense couldnt hold the lead in the final 20 seconds at Minnesota in the opener; and Bradleys Seattle defense couldnt hold a lead in Atlanta in the final 31 seconds of their playoff game.

While the Jaguars loss started them on the road to a 2-14 season, there was a silver lining to that season-ending loss for Bradley. He was hired by Jaguars general manager David Caldwell to be their coach.

Perhaps Bradleys main task is to rebuild a Jaguars defense that was ranked 30th last year and 28th in sacks per pass play. Bradley and general manager Caldwell have spent the offseason retooling the defense with six new starters, and they get their first test Sunday against quarterback Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs.
