Jaguars' Blake Bortles Making Progress

Blake Bortles

The Jacksonville Jaguars are 80 percent through with their OTAs and then they have a three-day minicamp next week that will conclude their offseason.

Coach Gus Bradley says rookie quarterback Blake Bortles is progressing, a statement in which Bortles agrees with, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

When asked about how he judges if he's making progress or not he said: Just learning, learning from the mistakes that Ive made since the start of OTAs and learning from the things Ive done right and how to improve on those.

Bortles says the key is eliminating the bad balls and mental errors.

Its coming [along] really good, meeting every morning with [offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch] and having Chad [Henne], Ricky [Stanzi] and Stephen [Morris] to bounce stuff off of and then just getting the reps is obviously the best way for me to progress be on the field, watch Chad do it and then get the opportunity for me to do it.
