Jags’ Marcedes Lewis Likely To Miss Week 2

Jaguars_Marcedes_Lewis_2013Tight end Marcedes Lewis is noted for being one of the most durable Jaguars.

He missed only three games in his first seven seasons with the team.

He now seems destined to miss the first two games of this season with a nagging calf injury. Coach Gus Bradley said Lewis is a longshot to play Sunday in Oakland.

Lewis wasn’t able to practice Wednesday and was limited to what he calls tempo running or jogging. He said he’s day to day.
