Insider: Tiger Takes Second Round Lead at Bay Hill
In a place he has come out a winner six times, Tiger Woods looks to be getting his old swagger back.? Woods entered the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf Club a challenger and after 18 holes emerged with the lead.
The world's former number one shot a seven under 65 on Friday and tied Charlie Wi at ten under heading into the weekend.? Last time Woods found himself out front heading into the final two rounds was all the way back in November 2009 at the Tour Championship.
On this Friday, Woods had seven birdies and hit every green in regulation.? Outside of a few miscues, he generally hit the ball in the middle of the fairway and sunk several long puts.
Woods will tee off with Wi in the final pairing at 1:50 PM tomorrow.? Two other challengers remain right behind the leaders.? Graeme McDowell shot the lowest number of the day, a 63, and Jason Dufner maintained his steady play with a 69.? Each is at nine under, just one shot off.
