Insider: Orlando falls short, again
The Orlando Magic once again fell short. The Mavericks beat the Magic (14-26) 111-105 Sunday night.
The Magic put themselves in position to win the game in the fourth quarter but they failed get stops and capitalize on opportunities. That has been the theme of Orlando's losses in the past few weeks. The Magic's defense was ranked in the top 10 earlier in the season but have struggled as of lately.
The Magic's co-captians Glen Davis and Jameer Nelson lead Orlando on the floor. Davis put up 24 points while Nelson contributed 20 points, six rebound and five assists.
Orlando will travel to Detroit Monday. They will play against the Pistons Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
