Insider: Celtics lock in 7th seed in Eastern Conference
The Boston Celtics took control on the game early on and never looked back. The Magic fell to the Celtics 12-0-88.
One of the key components that kept the Magic from competing in the game was making shots. The Magic shot 35-for-83 (42.2 percent) from the field, while the Celtics made 48-for- 81 from the field (59.3 percent).
Courtney Lee lead the Celtics with 20 points off the bench followed by Jeff Green with 17 points.
Magic’s center Nik Vucevic recorded another double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. While Tobias Harris lead the team with 22 points. E’Twaun Moore and Doron Lamb each contributed 11 points off the bench.
The Celtics locked up the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference while the Magic’s record now stands at 20-60.
The Magic will host the Bull Monday night before heading to South Beach and facing the Heat for their last game of the season.
