Heat F Mike Miller Says Back Is Getting Stronger
MIAMI (AP) — Mike Miller is just happy to be on the court shooting right now.
After two injury-filled seasons with the Miami Heat, Miller is still hunched a tiny bit when he walks, and the gait maybe isn’t as smooth as it once was. But after a summer working to strengthen his core and back under the watchful eye of Miami surgeon Dr. Barth Green, Miller says he’s feeling good about the looming season.
He shot 7-for-8 from 3-point range in Game 5 of the NBA Finals last June, when the Heat clinched the title series over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
