Gators Send Offer to Dual-Threat QB
2013 was not the best year for the Gators and the injury that QB Jeff Driskel suffered from, did not help. Now, the Florida coaching staff is exploring all options to help improve their offensive attack.
The Gators have been in talks with the nation’s top signal calling prospect, Will Grier and now, Coach Will Muschamp and staff are looking to put another name in the pool.
Quinton Flowers of Miami is a three-star rated, dual-threat quarterback who has committed to South Florida. The Gators sent him an offer that may be hard to resist.
Flowers said that he’s excited for the offer to play at Florida and it came at a surprise. He appreciates the Gator traditions with fans and academics.
The Miami Jackson athlete has also been looked at by Nebraska, Appalachian State and Cincinnati. He committed to the Bulls in October but this new offer may have him questioning his decision.
