Gary Kubiak: Arian Foster Had Irregular Heartbeat
As various reports stated, Arian Foster returned to the locker room in the third quarter with an illness and did not return. Coach Gary Kubiak revealed after the game that Foster was suffering from an irregular heartbeat.
Kubiak also said doctors told him Foster could return to the game, but Kubiak said he didn’t want to risk it and he decided to go with backup running backs Ben Tate and Justin Forsett instead.
CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that Foster told teammates and associates after the game that he is fine. The irregular heartbeat is not believed to be serious, and no further testing has been scheduled.
