TALLAHASSEE — Whereas Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston began to garner attention as a Heisman hopeful after the start of the season, Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd has been considered a front-runner for the award since deciding to return to Clemson for his senior year.
The fifth-year senior already has thrown for 1,783 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, but one thing in particular sticks out to Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher.
“His consistency,” Fisher said. “That’s the thing we all get bored with, that’s what you don’t want to write about. You want to write about something spectacular.”
