FSU Spring Practice Update (3/27)

Here are a few notes from the open portion of practice:

-Early enrolleeKareem Arewas a full participant in practice for the first time today. He took the second-team reps at left guard behindJosue Matias.During board drills Are dominated a one-on-one battle against linebackerReggie Northrup.

-Tre' Jacksonwas dressed out, but once again not participating. Fisher said yesterday that Jackson is being held out for precautionary reasons after getting "dinged in the head." Jared "Scooter" Haggins was also not working out. Fisher said that Haggins felt some tightness in his hamstring during yesterday's practice.They were joined on the sidelines byMathew Thomas, Ronald Darby, Nate Andrews, Justin Shanks, Myles Davis,andDerrick Mitchell.

-Jesus "Bobo" Wilsonwas in a blue no-contact jersey today.Karlos Williamsalso continued to wear a no-contanct jersey.

-The defense worked on nickel sets today after spending the last two days working on goal line.Jalen Ramseyworked in the nickel spot with early enrollee Trey Marshallshadowing him. P.J. Williams and Nick Waisome were the two corners with Darby out, and Tyler Hunter and Lamarcus Brutus played safety with Andrews out.Eddie Goldmanlined up at the nose tackle withMario Edwards Jr.andNile Lawrence-Stampleplaying defensive end.Chris Casherfilled the hybrid edge rusher/Sam linebacker position. Terrance Smith lined up at weak side linebacker and Norhrup played Mike backer.
