FSU Announces ACC Opponents for 2014-15 and 2015-16 Basketball Seasons
Earlier today the ACC announced each team'shome and away opponents for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 basketball seasons.
In the 2014-15 season Florida State will travel toGeorgiaTech, North Carolina, Virginia,Syracuse,andNotre Dame. TheSeminoles will hostDuke, Wake Forest, NC State,Louisville,andBoston College.Rounding out the ACC schedule will home-and-home series againstMiami, Clemson, Virginia Tech,and Pittsburgh.
In the 2015-16 season Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech,Louisville,andBoston College will host the Seminoles whileGeorgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, Pittsburgh,andNotre Damewill make the trip to Tallahassee.FSU will play home-and-homeseries againstMiami, Clemson, NC State,andSyracuse.
Florida State has the third best record in the ACC over the last nine years, but theACC is tougher than ever. With the addition of Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame last year and Louisville next year the ACC now includes six of the last 14 National Champions and seven teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season.
The Seminoles have missed the NCAA tournament the last two years, but they showed off their potential with a run the final four of the NIT last season.
