I believe if you do not make your own conference tournament, you should not be in the NCAA Tournament. I jump South Carolina over Mississippi State for beating them head to head 3-0 at Starkville and making SEC Tournament while the Bulldogs missed it. Iowa finishing near bottom of Big 10 is reason why I do not have them in as well.

Here my picks for  following Conference USA , and SEC awards.

SEC

Player of Year - Lauren Haeger- Florida. Haeger makes Gators offense go in middle of lineup.

Pitcher of Year-  Chelsea Thomas- Missouri.  Great race here edging out Hannah Rogers and Rachelle Fico.

Freshman of Year- Bianka Bell- LSU.   I go Bell over Glasco of Georgia as Bell has been a big reason for the massive improvement in LSU Offense.

Coach of Year-  Tim Walton – Florida/ Beth Torina- LSU. Walton led Gators team that was picked 7th in SEC before the season and led young team to SEC Title. Torina did something not many thought, Win the SEC Western Division over Alabama. Its the first time LSU won the SEC since 2007.

CUSA

Player of Year – Haley Outon – Houston

Pitcher of Year – Aimee Creger- Tulsa

Freshman of Year- Cat Atfield UAB/ Shelby Turnier- UCF

Coach of Year – Marla Townsend- UAB.
