Duck’s Selanne To Have Oral Surgery, Miss Two Weeks

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Anaheim Ducks forward Teemu Selanne is returning home from the Ducks’ road trip Wednesday after an being inadvertently hit in the mouth by Philadelphia’s Luke Schenn during the Ducks 3-2 win over the Flyers Tuesday.

Selanne lost at least four teeth, needed 40 stitches and will undergo surgery this week that could keep him out of game action for two weeks.

The 43-year-old Finnish Flash is in his 21st, and final NHL season, and had three goals and four assists in 11 games.

Anaheim is 3-2 with three straight victories on their 8 game road trip, which continues Thursday in Boston.
