The Miami Dolphins on Thursday signed Rupert Bryan, an offensive tackle who started 43 games for the Panthers. The Dolphins intend to use him as a fullback, and he is expected to compete with Jorvorskie Lane at the position.

The Dolphins waived injured defensive tackle Chas Alecxih and wide receiver Taylor Stockemer to make room for Bryan, who became the third FIU player to sign with Miami.
