Dolphins Jamar Taylor With High Hopes For NFL Season
Miami Dolphins CB, Jamar Taylor has finally entered offseason workouts looking and feeling healthy as ever for the first time in his NFL career.
The Fins drafted the former Boise State Bronco just last year despite his kidney ailment and succeeding sports hernia that kept him out for most of the offseason. Although Taylor did try fighting off injuries throughout the regular season to gain more playing time, he finished with simply 40 snaps on defense.
However with offseason practices in full swing, Taylor is feeling stronger and more confident in himself as a player as he tries to live up to his true potential as he did with the Broncos.
Taylor stated during the Fins’ organized team activities (OTAs):
“It’s getting there. He’s definitely coming back out,” …“I think it’s more motivation for myself. I have high expectations of myself,” Taylor said. “I can’t really worry about what everyone else thinks, as long as I get the respect of my teammates, my coaches and myself.”
For those who are not familiar with Jamar Taylor’s time with the Boise State Broncos, here’s a video featuring the highlights of his college career.
