Dolphins Expressing “Real Interest” In Jarius Byrd
The Dolphins are among the team expressing “real interest” in prospective free agent safety Jairus Byrd, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
According to Rapoport, while there’s a new regime in place in Miami’s front office, the team appears to be “gearing up for another big year in free agency.”

James Walker of ESPN.com reports that Byrd is looking for an average salary of about $9 million from any team that wants to sign him when such signings become a possibility on Tuesday.
